Portrait of Angie, graphic designer and digital artist

Hello There!

I’m Angie, a creative professional based in Southern Maryland. I have plenty of experience in graphic design. I’ve worked many other roles as well so I have diverse skill set. In a recent position as a web and interface designer, I successfully collaborated with cross-functional teams to develop technical online projects for government clients. I’m excited to bring my skills and abilities to a dynamic team where I can help achieve your company’s goals.

My Story

I have always loved art. Pursuing a degree in graphic design felt like a natural choice. After graduating from Shepherd University, I started my career in publishing, specializing in magazine design and layout for a nonprofit in Washington, DC.

Being creative is what drives me. So does technology. I found myself drawn toward the technical side of design – the image editing tools, publishing software, and coding languages for styling web pages. Eager to expand my skills in digital content, I looked for opportunities in information technology.

I relocated to Southern Maryland and immersed myself in the high-tech defense contracting industry. Mostly, I designed and developed online training courses for government clients. At the company where I worked, I also became the “go-to” person for all things graphic.

I helped anyone in the organization who needed my design or editing skills. I regularly assisted the business development team with proposal graphics. And I became a volunteer member of the marketing and communications committee.

Now, I’m looking to bring that blend of creativity, technical expertise, and strategic thinking into content marketing and digital marketing, crafting engaging, data-driven visuals and messaging that connect with audiences in a meaningful way.
